The JAPA GrizzlyBar allows for quick and easy removal of splinters and bark from firewood. It is mounted on the discharge edge of the conveyor belt, causing the split wood to slide over the GrizzlyBar's bars during discharge and be screened in the process. The logs then fall onto the existing stack or a trailer. The screened material falls through the bars and down a metal chute into, for example, a big bag or other container.
